The Man Walked - John 5:1-15

In this sermon from John 5:1-15, Pastor Matt walks us through the incredible story of the man healed at the pool of Bethesda. This story is important on several levels. It shows us the compassion, grace, and healing power of Christ in healing this man. It introduces us to the rising conflict between Jesus and the Jewish leadership. Most importantly for us, it teaches us about about our utter helpless to save ourselves, the sovereign initiative of Christ to save us, and our mandate to walk in obedience to Christ once we have been saved.
