The Humble King - Philippians 2:5-13

In our Christmas Sermon, Pastor Matt encourages us from Philippians 2:5-13 to have the same kind of humility that Christ has - a humility that is exemplified in Christ's incarnation and sacrifice, and which is ours by virtue of our union with Him.

"Before the Christmas manger, even before the miraculous, Holy Spirit wrought conception of Jesus in the womb of Mary, He WAS. The baby in the manger is the self-existent Son, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father. That’s the starting point. The magnitude of Christ’s taking on humanity can only be seen against the backdrop of His Divinity."
