Like Father Like Son - John 5:18-24

In this sermon on John 5:18-24, Pastor Matt walks us through the beginning of Jesus's answer to the Pharisees' charge that He was "making himself equal with God." Jesus does not deny the charge, but instead shows how His equality with the Father is grounded in the Father's love for the Son and the Son's obedience to the Father. This leads to deep Trinitarian truths that should evoke within us a sense of awe, wonder, and worship at the nature of Christ.
